This website contains information about the V-Disc recording program, which took place from 1943 until 1949. It has been a slow process over the last five years getting to this point. My hope is that you will learn something new about the musicians that preformed in this program, that was created to help increase the moral of the troops during World War II and after, as part of the Marshall Plan to provide entertainment.
